I’ve been using WPScan for a while on my netbook running nubuntu but I’ve been using my Windows box a lot lately and I can’t find a decent proxychains app for it.
Rather than running something like WideCap or SocksCap I decided to just put proxy support into WPScan itself. A few if then statements later and it’s all good to go.
Usage is as per normal except add –tor to use default Tor settings (localhost:9050), otherwise use –proxy host:port.
Please note that DNS traffic will still occur normally and not through the proxy. Modify WPScan yourself if you require this. Currently the proxy type is set to SOCKS5.
